Job summary

Nomagic is seeking a Senior IT & Security Engineer to own and manage internal IT and security operations. This role requires hands-on experience in IT engineering and a desire to shape security strategies and compliance programs in a hybrid work environment in Warsaw.

The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in network configuration and IT security, be fluent in English, and enjoy working collaboratively within a proactive team atmosphere. A relocation package and equity options are also included in the offer.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of hands-on experience in IT engineering or IT security.
• Strong hands-on experience with network configuration, firewalls, VLANs, and VPN.
• Solid experience with Intune or equivalent MDM.

Responsibilities

• Own internal IT and Security at a scaling Physical AI company.
• Maintain and improve compliance posture on Vanta since ISO 27001 and SOC 2.
• Design, configure and troubleshoot network equipment and firewalls.

We're now looking for a Senior IT & Security Engineer to own our internal IT and security. You'll keep our IT environment running well, our compliance program healthy, and our security posture at the level our customers expect.

Problems you may try to solve with us

• Leverage your impact by directing our outsourced IT subcontractor – define how things should be done onboarding/offboarding workflows, SaaS administration and day‑to‑day operations, verify execution, and step in hands‑on when needed
• Maintain and improve our ISO 27001 and SOC 2 compliance posture day‑to‑day on Vanta – evidence, controls, audits
• Co‑create policy for AI tooling usage – be at the forefront of how AI can boost productivity at Nomagic, while applying best security practices around evaluation, access, and data handling
• Design, configure and troubleshoot network equipment and firewalls across our office and customer edge sites

Skills we’d like you to have

• 5+ years of hands‑on experience in IT engineering, IT security, or a similar role
• Strong hands‑on experience with network configuration – firewalls, VLANs, VPN (any vendor)
• Solid Intune or equivalent MDM experience – either hands‑on, or enough depth to spec and verify what an outsourced team implements
• Identity and access management experience – SSO, SAML, Google Workspace or Azure AD
• Scripting ability for automation – Python, Bash, PowerShell, or similar
• Experience working within a GRC framework (ISO 27001, SOC 2, or similar)
• Fluent communication in English
