About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced IT Manager to oversee and coordinate all aspects of retail and digital in‑store technology operations in Poland and Czech Republic.
This individual will be responsible for the management of in‑store IT systems and mobile applications, local infrastructure, and vendor performance.
The role requires a strong balance of operational excellence, leadership, and hands‑on project delivery across retail environments and omnichannel tools.

IT Manager will act as a key liaison between Central EME IT, local stakeholders, and external partners, ensuring that all IT systems are reliable, compliant, and aligned with the company’s strategic objectives.

Your responsibilities will be
Retail IT Operations
  • Oversee and ensure the smooth operation of retail IT systems, including POS solutions (e.g. Vynamic/TP.net), network providers, and in‑store digital tools.
  • Manage IT support for stores and HQ, ensuring minimal downtime and high service quality.
  • Supervise local IT service providers (e.g. hardware maintenance, helpdesk, on‑site support).
  • Monitor SLAs and performance KPIs to ensure service excellence.
  • Guarantee compliance with local fiscal, legal, and security regulations.
Project Management & Implementations
  • Lead or support the deployment of IT projects (store openings, digital tool rollouts, infrastructure upgrades).
  • Collaborate with central IT and local operations to deliver projects on time and within budget.
  • Coordinate system testing, user training, and post‑go‑live support.
  • Maintain up‑to‑date project documentation and user procedures.
Maintenance & Support
  • Oversee application and infrastructure maintenance for stores and offices.
  • Ensure timely resolution and escalation of incidents, coordinating with internal and external support teams.
  • Analyze recurring issues and drive root‑cause elimination.
  • Guarantee data security, backup procedures, and adherence to corporate IT standards.
Budgeting & Vendor Management
  • Manage local IT budgets, ensuring optimal cost control and forecasting accuracy.
  • Benchmark, select, and supervise local IT vendors and hardware suppliers.
  • Oversee licensing, warranty, and service contract compliance.
Team Leadership & Collaboration
  • Lead and mentor local IT staff (4 people) or contractors to ensure high performance.
  • Build effective communication bridges between business stakeholders and IT teams.
  • Provide training and guidance to store staff on digital tools and IT procedures.
Our expectations
  • Master’s degree (or equivalent) in Information Systems, Computer Science, or related field.
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in IT management within retail, FMCG, or consumer‑facing industries.
  • Solid knowledge of store technology, payment systems, fiscal environments.
  • Fluent in English.
  • Strong project management skills with a track record of delivering cross‑functional initiatives.
  • Excellent stakeholder management, analytical, and communication skills.
  • Proven experience leading IT operations across multiple countries would be a plus.
  • Willingness to travel to Czech Republic when required.
