Job summary

State Street in Kraków is seeking a Senior Business Analyst to support the Markets Operations Program—a cross‑functional platform. You will lead key analysis activities, partner with product and delivery teams across regions, and mentor junior analysts in a hybrid working model.

The role requires a strong background in financial services, excellent stakeholder collaboration across US, EMEA and APAC, and proven ability to document requirements, create user stories and manage UAT.

• Conduct process analysis and create process models and flow diagrams.
• Develop user stories, acceptance criteria, and supporting documentation in Confluence.
• Support solution design discussions ensuring alignment with business needs.
• Coordinate UAT activities and stakeholder communication and enablement.
• Ensure seamless collaboration across Operations partners in US, EMEA, and APAC.

The IT Markets Operations at State Street is seeking an experienced Senior Business Analyst to support the Markets Operations Program—a strategic, cross‑functional platform.

As a Senior Business Analyst, you will contribute to consistent business analysis practices, lead key workstreams, and collaborate with product and delivery teams across regions. You may also provide guidance and mentoring to junior analysts.

This role can be performed in a hybrid model, where you can balance work from home and office to match your needs and role requirements.

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Economics, Engineering, Math or equivalent work experience to substitute for education); Marster’s degree is a plus.
• Min. 8-10 years of Financial Services Industry is required
• Experience with MS suite, Confluence, JIRA
• Strong analytical skills, with ability to collect, absorb, and analyze information quickly and independently.
• Experience in working with cross‑functional teams and project timelines.

Minimum Salary

zł182,004 Annual

The minimum salary quoted above applies to the role in the primary location specified. If the candidate ultimately works outside of this primary location, the applicable minimum salary may differ.

Salary will be determined based on factors such as the position, type of work performed, individual skills, job description, working hours, diligence, initiative, self-management, length of employment, availability, and the quantity and quality of work delivered, as well as other objective and non-discriminatory criteria relevant to State Street employees.

In addition to salary, employees are eligible to be considered for discretionary annual performance-based awards.
