Job summary

emagine is seeking an IT Automation Tester in Poland to ensure quality of global payment services. You will collaborate with a scrum team to test microservices and payment flows, design test cases, and build automated suites with Python and Robot Framework.

The role requires strong API testing skills, Python, Robot Framework, and familiarity with modern DevOps tools. Hybrid work arrangement with on-site Gdańsk/Warsaw presence is expected.

Qualifications

• Proven experience with RESTful API testing tools and methodologies.
• Strong Python programming skills for test development.
• Hands-onRobot Framework automation experience.
• Experience with Database and Kafka testing.
• Tests XML/JSON data formats (XML/JSON knowledge).
• Familiarity with Jenkins, Git, Docker and Kubernetes.
• ISTQB Foundation Level knowledge (or equivalent).
• Knowledge of QA processes (manual and automated).
• Excellent English communication (spoken and written).

The role of an IT Automation Tester is crucial for ensuring the quality of global payment services. The primary goal is to collaborate with various stakeholders to test and validate payment microservices, enhancing the security and efficiency of financial transactions.

Responsibilities

• Work closely in a scrum team with developers, analysts, and stakeholders to ensure high quality.
• Test and validate microservices in payments flows (APIs, Kafka, Database).
• Analyze requirements from a testing point of view.
• Plan, design, and execute test cases.
• Build and maintain automated test suites using Python and Robot Framework.
• Provide test results.
• Participate in testing team activities and contribute to organizational quality initiatives.

Requirements
