Job Description
This is a remote position.
Lead strategic IT audit and cybersecurity assurance initiatives across global clients while building and mentoring high-performing teams.
As an IT Audit Director, you will drive high-impact engagements, oversee the delivery of assurance services, and serve as a trusted advisor to clients navigating complex security, risk, and compliance challenges.
You will work across industries and frameworks such as SOC, PCI DSS, HITRUST, ISO 27001, NIST, GDPR, and CCPA, while shaping the direction of our assurance practice and contributing to business growth.

What You Will Do in This Role
Strategic Leadership
- Drive the vision and execution of IT audit and assurance services
- Lead, mentor, and grow a high-performing team of cybersecurity and audit professionals
- Foster a culture of quality, accountability, collaboration, and innovation
- Contribute to business growth through strategic initiatives and service expansion
Client Engagement & Advisory
- Build and maintain strong, long-term client relationships
- Serve as a trusted advisor to clients on cybersecurity, risk, and compliance matters
- Lead high-profile client engagements and executive-level discussions
- Develop a deep understanding of client industries and business environments
Service Delivery Excellence
- Oversee end-to-end delivery of IT audit and assurance engagements
- Ensure high-quality execution across frameworks such as SOC, PCI DSS, HITRUST, ISO 27001, NIST, GDPR, and CCPA
- Align deliverables with client objectives, timelines, and regulatory requirements
- Provide strategic recommendations to improve security, compliance, and risk posture
People Development & Training
- Mentor and coach team members in both technical and leadership capabilities
- Lead internal training initiatives and knowledge-sharing programs
- Stay updated on evolving cybersecurity trends, regulations, and best practices
Requirements
Experience
- Minimum of 10 years of progressive experience in IT audit, cybersecurity, or assurance
- Proven leadership experience within a professional services or consulting environment
- Strong background in managing large-scale client engagements

- Deep expertise in cybersecurity and compliance frameworks (SOC, PCI DSS, HITRUST, ISO 27001, NIST, GDPR, CCPA)

Education & Certifications
