Job summary

GlobalLogic Inc. is offering an Internship – Embedded C with Cryptography to join our Security Team.

You will work on state-of-the-art cryptographic libraries for embedded systems, write automated tests, and develop algorithms across hardware platforms. You should be a final-year student or recent graduate in CS, Microelectronics, or applied math, with practical Embedded C knowledge, an understanding of testing methodologies, and strong English skills.

Qualifications

• Final-year student or recent graduate in Computer Science, Microelectronics Engineering, Applied Mathematics, or a related field.
• Practical knowledge of C programming (Embedded C).
• Understanding of software testing methodologies (unit testing, static code analysis).
• Advanced English (written and spoken, B2/C1 minimum).
• Strong problem-solving mindset, self-motivated, and eager to learn.
• Basic awareness of secure coding practices and common security vulnerabilities in embedded systems.
• Academic project experience, involvement in student research groups, or prior internship/co-op experience.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain embedded C software for security-critical devices.
• Implement, integrate, and optimize cryptographic algorithms.
• Analyze cryptographic algorithms with a focus on performance, memory footprint and security.
• Define test strategies, test specifications, and validation procedures.

We are looking for an Intern to join our Security Team.

Become part of a highly talented team and dynamic team that develops and tests state-of-the art secure cryptographic libraries protected against physical and logical attacks which have applications across all different domains (payment, identification, mobile, IoT, Automotive, Edge Processing, etc.).

The main challenge for Crypto Library Developers in the Secure Software IP team would be to understand the Crypto Library functionality running on the embedded system, write automated tests targeting the functionality of our high-performance security software and to develop advanced algorithms while maintaining support for all the hardware platforms.

If you are proficient in C, familiar with, have some knowledge/interests in cryptography and are not scared to delve deep into the secrets of cryptography, then this is a perfect opportunity for you.

Requirements

• Final-year student or recent graduate in Computer Science, Microelectronics Engineering, Applied Mathematics, or a related field

Solid foundation in mathematics:

• Basic awareness of secure coding practices and common security vulnerabilities in embedded systems
• Academic project experience, involvement in student research groups, or prior internship/co-op experience
• Exposure to embedded systems development or testing (e.g., hands-on experience with microcontrollers in coursework or personal projects)
