Job summary

Requires hands-on audit expertise, strong financial understanding, and exceptional communication in an international corporate setting. Travel approx. 25% may be needed.

Qualifications

• Minimum 7-8 years in Internal and/or External Audit.
• Fluent English, spoken and written.
• SAP knowledge required; Big 4/international audit experience a plus.
• Willingness to travel ~25% internationally.
• Strong finance and audit knowledge with ownership mentality.

Responsibilities

• Manage full lifecycle of internal audit engagements (planning, execution, reporting, and follow-up).
• Perform hands-on audit testing and ensure high-quality documentation.
• Discuss audit observations, risks, and action plans with stakeholders.

• Identify process improvement opportunities across audited entities.

Join an international environment where internal audit goes far beyond standard compliance activities. In this role, you will coordinate and execute international audits across multiple entities within the Orbia Group, supporting risk management, operational excellence, and continuous improvement on a global scale.

This is a highly visible role for a hands-on audit professional with strong financial understanding, excellent communication skills, and the ability to operate confidently in an international corporate environment. The role also supports the Audit Director and VP in the overall functioning of the Internal Audit department and may include additional audit projects or investigations when needed.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage the full lifecycle of internal audit engagements: planning, execution, reporting, and follow-up
• Perform hands-on audit testing and ensure high-quality documentation
• Discuss audit observations, risks, and action plans with stakeholders
• Monitor implementation of corrective actions and improvements
• Support, coach, and supervise audit team members
• Identify process improvement opportunities across audited entities
• Participate in international audits across Orbia entities globally

Requirements

• Minimum 7-8 years of experience in Internal and/or External Audit
• Strong understanding of finance, audit principles, internal controls, and corporate environments
• Hands-on, operational approach with strong ownership mentality
• Fluent English skills (spoken and written) – essential
• Experience within Big 4 or international audit/advisory firms is a strong plus
• SAP knowledge required
• ACCA, CIA, CPA, CIMA, or similar certifications are welcome
• Spanish language skills would be an advantage
• Strong interpersonal skills and ability to work across cultures
• Willingness to travel internationally (approximately 25%)
