Job summary

Auxo Talent seeks an Infrastructure Platform Engineer to join a dedicated infra team working with bare-metal hosting, Ubuntu Linux, networking and security across a large fleet of physical servers. The role is full-time and remote for candidates based in Poland.

You will administer Ubuntu servers, operate across data centers, design routing, DNS, firewalls and VPNs, diagnose hardware failures, implement secure changes, automate with Ansible, and build monitoring with metrics and dashboards.

Qualifications

• Hands-on production experience with Ubuntu Linux administration.
• Experience with dedicated hosting providers (e.g. Hetzner, OVH) or colocation data centres (e.g. Digital Realty / Interxion, Cyberlynk).
• Strong routing, DNS, firewall and VPN knowledge, including debugging.
• Experience with physical servers and diagnosing hardware failures.
• Monitoring and observability experience.
• A security-minded approach to infrastructure change management.

The role is built around bare-metal and dedicated hosting infrastructure rather than cloud-native services, with a strong focus on Linux, networking and security across a large fleet of physical servers.

Responsibilities:
