Job summary

Bechtel Poland is seeking an Industrial Hygiene Specialist to implement and sustain the project IH program on site. You will perform exposure assessments, monitoring, and recordkeeping while advising on controls and health surveillance under the supervision of EHS leadership.

You will coordinate with subcontractors and health providers to ensure regulatory compliance and timely corrective actions, contributing to a safe and compliant project environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Industrial Hygiene, Occupational Health, Chemistry, Environmental Health, Engineering, or related field.
• Proven experience in exposure assessment, industrial hygiene monitoring, and implementation of occupational health controls.
• Professional certification such as CIH or equivalent is preferred.
• Experience on nuclear, power generation, or highly regulated projects is advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Implement the IH program, including hazard assessments and exposure monitoring strategies.
• Conduct personal, area, and atmospheric monitoring for occupational hazards.
• Evaluate results against exposure limits and communicate findings.
• Maintain sampling equipment, calibration records, and chain of custody.
• Apply hierarchy of controls to reduce exposure; support respiratory protection and health surveillance programs.
• Coordinate with health providers and project teams to support compliance and corrective actions.
