Job Description

As a Clinical Application Specialist, you drive clinical decision support for Philips products and solutions by combining your clinical expertise with a deep understanding of customer needs. You support sales activities through product demonstrations, customer training and clinical education — ensuring optimal product usage and high customer satisfaction.

Your role:
  • Act as the clinical knowledge expert for Philips products, solutions and services, providing clinical decision support during sales presentations, product demonstrations and customer engagements.
  • Partner with Account Managers to develop and execute effective clinical sales strategies that expand market share and support new product launches.
  • Educate and advise sales teams on emerging clinical issues and evolving market needs, positioning Philips solutions effectively.
  • Deliver high-quality customer training, ensuring best practices and optimal use of Philips equipment in clinical environments.
  • Plan and execute customer training schedules, including (re-)training on new releases, upgrades or procedural changes.
  • Conduct regular customer visits to gather feedback, assess satisfaction and ensure training and support meet Philips’ quality standards.
  • Ensure compliance with all quality, safety and regulatory standards, including radiation protection and health and safety regulations.
  • Act as an informal resource or functional supervisor to less experienced colleagues, contributing to a collaborative and high-performing team culture.
You're the right fit if you have the following skills and experience:
  • Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field with 3–5 years of related experience (minimum 2 years in a similar role).
  • Strong clinical domain knowledge and a deep understanding of product and solution applications.
  • Proven experience in sales support, customer training and clinical education within a healthcare technology environment.
  • Excellent presentation, communication and persuasion skills, with the ability to tailor content to diverse audiences.
  • Demonstrated ability to plan, prioritize and adapt in dynamic clinical and sales environments.
  • Strong problem-solving and Lean thinking mindset.
  • Collaborative, customer-focused professional who instills trust, communicates effectively and works well across teams.
  • Software product knowledge and familiarity with standard processes and tools in the healthcare domain.
