Job summary

HSBC Holdings plc in Poland is seeking an Infrastructure Engineer to deliver complex IBM MQ and ACE projects across data centres. You will install, configure, and administer MQ and ACE environments while driving automation and DevOps practices.

You will own delivery of projects, build CI/CD pipelines with Jenkins, automate with Ansible, manage secrets with Vault, and provide 24x7 production support with a strong focus on security and compliance.

Qualifications

• Hands-on experience administering IBM MQ: installation, configuration, troubleshooting, clustering, and security.
• Hands-on administration experience with IBM App Connect Enterprise ACE and IIB.
• Experience with monitoring tools and log management including ITM.
• Automation experience using Ansible (playbooks, roles, inventories).
• Secret management with HashiCorp Vault and integration.
• Creating and maintaining Jenkins pipelines for automated deployments.
• Shell and Python scripting for automation and operations.
• Experience in Agile and DevOps environments with L3 production issue handling.

CIB - GTS is investing in data centres and core physical infrastructure across multiple regions. This role focuses on delivering complex infrastructure projects under demanding timelines while shaping reliable messaging and integration services. You’ll design, implement and support IBM MQ and IBM App Connect Enterprise ACE platforms and strengthen how the team deploys and operates these environments through automation and DevOps practices. You’ll partner closely with software delivery teams, infrastructure teams and security to deliver secure, scalable solutions that perform well in production.

What you’ll do

What you need to have to succeed in this role

• Demonstrate substantial hands-on experience administering IBM MQ, including installation, configuration, troubleshooting, clustering and security
• Demonstrate hands-on administration experience with IBM App Connect Enterprise ACE and IIB
• Apply experience with monitoring tools and log management solutions including ITM monitoring
• Build automation using Ansible—including playbook development, roles and inventory management
• Use HashiCorp Vault for secrets management and integration
• Create and maintain Jenkins pipelines for automated deployments
• Apply scripting skills in Shell and Python for automation and operational tasks
• Apply experience working in Agile and DevOps environments including handling L3 production issues and working effectively under pressure

What we offer

The pay range for this role is 22317 PLN - 27000 PLN monthly, gross.

Additional car allowance in the amount of 4786 PLN (monthly, gross).

Variable pay is discretionary, but influenced by Group performance, business/function performance and individual performance.
