Job summary

Jit Team in Poznań is seeking a QA Tester to join a team responsible for testing and ensuring the quality of an IT system across the software development lifecycle. You will perform functional, integration, regression, and E2E testing, including REST API testing with Postman and SQL verification.

Qualifications

• Minimum 3 years of experience in manual testing of IT systems, preferably within large-scale or enterprise environments.
• Experience in planning testing activities and creating test scenarios and test cases.
• Hands-on experience in functional, integration, and end-to-end (E2E) testing.
• Good knowledge of SQL and databases, with the ability to independently analyze data and verify logs.
• Hands-on experience in REST API testing using Postman.
• Experience with test management, bug tracking, and documentation tools, such as Jira, TestRail, and Confluence.
• Good understanding of Agile/Scrum methodologies.
• Strong analytical skills and attention to detailAbility to clearly communicate defects, risks, and test results
• English at B2 level or higher

Responsibilities

• Performing functional, integration, regression, and end-to-end (E2E) testing at different stages of the software development lifecycle
• Testing REST APIs using Postman
• Working with databases and SQL for testing purposes
• Managing test cases and defects in Jira and TestRail
• Analyzing test results, identifying and documenting defects
• Creating and maintaining test documentation
