Job summary

Auctane is seeking a Database Engineering Manager to lead a multi-member team, drive reliable database operations, and continuously improve workflows across our brands. You will mentor database engineers, define action plans with stakeholders, and uphold high standards for processes and systems.

You will balance day-to-day tasks with long-term roadmaps, advocate for best practices, and help ensure high availability and scalable data platforms across hybrid cloud environments.

Qualifications

• Experience leading and scaling technical teams with a focus on people development.
• Proven track record of daily database management tasks and capacity planning.
• Experience implementing global security policies and compliance within engineering teams.
• Structured incident management, performance monitoring, and proactive maintenance.
• Ability to translate architecture into actionable tasks, sprints, and deliverables.
