Job summary

OPmobility is seeking a Product Development Engineer – Hardware (BMS) to design and develop next-generation Battery Management System hardware in Kraków within a growing engineering team.

You will define electronic solutions, lead hardware functionality, and ensure timelines and cost targets are met while collaborating with internal and external stakeholders. Hybrid work is available, with 3 days in the office weekly.

Qualifications

• Strong knowledge of analog and digital electronics.
• Strong knowledge of power electronics and mechatronics.
• Understanding of electronic controller architecture and battery system architecture.
• Familiarity with testing methods, fault analysis techniques and EMC basics.
• Basic understanding of software architecture.

Responsibilities

• Define technical solutions for electronic function in line with project requirements, internal processes, cost targets, and quality standards.
• Lead the definition and development of one or more electronic function within the hardware project team.
• Coordinate with internal and external stakeholders.
• Ensure compliance with development timelines and target cost objectives.
• Support periodic reviews and checkpoints with management to validate technical decisions.
