Job description

VentorTech is a tech company that helps small and mid-sized businesses run smarter. We build solutions on top of Odoo ERP, automating different business processes from sales and inventory to purchasing and accounting. Our clients are based in Europe, the US, and Australia, and our team handles full-cycle implementations -from analysis to delivery and support.

We’re a team of around 80 people. We move quickly, think in solutions (not processes for the sake of processes), and base our work on collaboration, accountability and growth mindset.

We’re now looking for an HR Manager who can confidently take over core HR operations and become a reliable partner to the Head of HR. This role is about driving structured, consistent processes - from onboarding and 1:1s to performance reviews and engagement tracking - and making sure they actually work, not just exist on paper.

We’re looking for someone who thinks in systems, takes full responsibility for their area, and can manage tasks independently with attention to detail, common sense, and a thoughtful approach to working with people.

What you'll be doing:
  • Coordinate surveys (e.g. eNPS, employee satisfaction), analyze results and suggest follow-ups.
  • Lead onboarding and help new hires feel at home.
  • Run regular 1-on-1s and support performance review cycles.
  • Facilitate team check-ins, support cultural rituals and transparent dialogue.
  • Prepare people analytics by team/unit and flag areas for intervention.
  • Help us keep growing sustainably: retention, engagement, satisfaction.
  • Own operational HR events and documentation.
Who we’re looking for:
  • You have 2-4 years of experience in HR (ideally in IT or consulting).
  • You’ve worked across core HR processes: onboarding, 1:1s, reviews, surveys.
  • You’re organized and logical, but also emotionally intelligent.
  • You’re independent - you don’t wait for instructions to act.
  • You’re a great communicator - clear, honest, and kind.
  • You’re comfortable with change and always looking to improve how things work. Ready to keep a few focuses at the same time
  • You speak English at B1–B2 level or higher.

Optional, but advantageous:

  • Have experience in HR analytics.
  • Studied psychology, HR or people-related topics.
  • You’re familiar with spreadsheets (Excel or Google Sheets).
  • Know your way around Odoo or other HR CRM.

Because here, HR is not a background function - it’s part of how we build the company every day. It’s not about endless policies or formalities, but about creating clear, working systems and processes that actually help people do their jobs better and feel part of something.

You won’t be micromanaged - you’ll be trusted to lead your area, supported when needed, and invited to influence how we grow. We care about things being done well, but also about why and how they’re done. And we’re looking for someone who shares that mindset.

What we offer
  • A healthy, non-corporate work culture, where HR is not a reporting function but a team that matters.
  • A data-driven culture, where decisions - including in HR - are based on metrics and data.
  • 20 vacation days + 4 sick days annually.
  • Health wallet - monthly compensation of health-related activities
  • Workplace Support (Home-office setup or Office commute compensation)
  • Compensation for courses and training.
  • Internal English classes.

If this role and our company sound like a place where you could thrive,we’d love to hear from you.
