Job summary

Intel in Poland (Gdansk) is seeking a Compiler Engineer to design, develop, and optimize compiler technologies for high-performance computing and AI workloads. You will contribute to Intel C/C++/DPC++ compilers and LLVM-based projects, working across software and hardware teams to enable new processor capabilities.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field.
• 4+ years of professional software development in C/C++.
• Strong object-oriented programming and data structures knowledge.
• Experience optimizing software for CPU performance.
• Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and debugging skills.
• Ability to work independently and drive technical solutions.

Responsibilities

• Designing, developing, testing, debugging, and maintaining compiler components.
• Implementing new compiler features and resolving defects.
• Analyzing real-world apps to identify optimization opportunities.
• Improving performance of compiler-generated code for CPU architectures.
• Conducting functional, performance, and stress testing.
• Collaborating with global engineering, validation, and performance teams.
• Working with hardware architects to enable new processor capabilities.
• Contributing to open-source compiler technologies.
