ROAD ONE MOBILE INC is seeking a skilled Heavy Duty Tow Truck Driver to join our diesel mechanic shop. You will tow heavy-duty trucks and trailers, provide roadside assistance, and ensure safe transport to our facility.

The role requires CDL with a clean record, strong mechanical knowledge of diesel engines, and excellent customer service. This is a remote position with opportunities to work across various locations.

Qualifications

• Must have heavy duty wrecker towing experience.
• Valid CDL with a clean driving record; additional towing certifications are a plus.
• Strong mechanical aptitude and knowledge of diesel engines.
• Excellent customer service and communication skills.
• Physically capable of demanding tasks and adverse conditions.

Responsibilities

• Towing Operations: safely operate a heavy-duty wrecker to transport trucks and trailers to the shop.
• Documentation: complete vehicle condition reports and related invoices.
• Safety Compliance: follow safety regulations and company policies.
• Customer Service: maintain professionalism and assist clients.
• Equipment Maintenance: perform routine checks on tow equipment.
• Emergency Response: respond quickly to roadside calls, including bad weather.

MUST HAVE HEAVY DUTY WRECKER TOWING EXPERIENCE.......We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Heavy Duty Tow Truck Driver to join our diesel mechanic shop. The successful candidate will be responsible for towing heavy-duty trucks and trailers, providing roadside assistance, and ensuring the safe transport of vehicles to our repair facility.

Key Responsibilities

• Towing Operations: Safely operate and maneuver a heavy-duty wrecker tow truck to transport trucks and trailers from various locations to our diesel mechanic shop.
• Documentation: Accurately complete all necessary documentation related to towing jobs, including vehicle condition reports, invoices, and customer service records.
• Safety Compliance: Adhere to all safety regulations and company policies to ensure the safety of yourself, customers, and the vehicles being towed.
• Customer Service: Maintain a high level of professionalism and provide exceptional customer service to ensure customer satisfaction and loyalty.
• Equipment Maintenance: Perform routine inspections and maintenance on tow truck equipment to ensure it remains in optimal working condition.
• Emergency Response: Respond to emergency calls promptly and efficiently, often in adverse weather conditions or during irregular hours.

Qualifications and Skills

• Experience: Previous experience as a heavy-duty tow truck driver or in a similar role is preferred.
• Licenses and Certifications: Valid CDL with a clean driving record. Additional certifications related to towing and recovery are a plus.
• Technical Skills: Strong mechanical aptitude and knowledge of diesel engines and heavy-duty vehicles.
• Attention to Detail: Keen attention to detail to ensure accurate documentation and safe operations.
• Customer Service: Excellent customer service and communication skills.
• Physical Fitness: Ability to perform physically demanding tasks, including lifting heavy objects and working in various environments.
• Problem-Solving: Strong problem-solving skills to handle roadside issues and ensure safe towing operations.
