Job summary

Revolut is looking for a Head of Product Control to build and scale our global valuation control function, owning financial integrity, P&L reporting, and balance sheet substantiation across markets.

You will lead a team of product controllers, partner with Data, Engineering, and Quant teams, and liaise with regulators and auditors to shape IFRS-compliant controls in a fast-growing fintech.

Qualifications

• 10+ years in finance/product control within Tier-1 banks.
• 5+ years in a senior managerial or head-of-desk capacity.
• Experience over trade life cycles, multi-asset P&L attribution, XVA adjustments, and derivatives.
• Proven ability to design target operating models and scale control automation.
• Proficiency with data-centric tools like SQL, Python, or BI platforms.
• Strong communication, influencing skills, and resilience under pressure.
• Bachelor's or master's degree in finance, economics, engineering, mathematics, or a related quantitative field.

Responsibilities

• Define and execute the global vision, operating model, and governance for product and valuation control across entities and regulated jurisdictions.
• Hire, scale, and mentor a team of product controllers.
• Maintain accountability for daily sign-off, substantiation, and attribution of multi-asset P&L and balance sheet integrity.
• Establish valuation methodologies, prudent valuation reserves, IPV, and XVAs under IFRS.
• Represent valuation and control frameworks before regulators, external auditors, and internal committees.
• Partner with Data, Engineering, and Quant teams to automate control infrastructure.
• Serve as finance partner to CRO, Group Treasurer, CFO, and trading heads.

About The Role

The Finance team keeps Revolut moving with clarity and confidence. From accounting to strategic support, they work across the business to assess risk, guide decisions, and drive growth. Their insight shapes everything from daily operations to long-term plans and plays a key role in how we scale.

We're looking for a Head of Product Control to build, lead, and scale our global product and valuation control functions. You'll be the owner of financial integrity, P&L reporting, and balance sheet substantiation across our market making and treasury portfolios.

What You'll Be Doing

• Defining and executing the global vision, target operating model, and governance framework for product and valuation control across entities and regulated jurisdictions
• Hiring, scaling, and mentoring a team of product controllers
• Maintaining executive accountability for the daily sign-off, substantiation, and attribution of multi-asset trading P&L and balance sheet integrity
• Establishing firm-wide valuation and independent price verification (IPV) methodologies, prudent valuation reserves, XVAs, and governance under IFRS
• Representing valuation and control frameworks before global regulators (PRA, FCA, ECB, etc.), external auditors, and internal audit committees
• Owning next-generation control infrastructure by partnering with Data, Engineering, and Quant teams to eliminate manual intervention
• Serving as the primary finance partner to the Chief Risk Officer, Group Treasurer, CFO, and trading heads

What You'll Need

• 10+ years of progressive finance and product control experience within Tier-1 investment banks
• 5+ years in a senior managerial or head-of-desk capacity
• Comprehensive authority over trade life cycles, multi-asset P&L attribution, XVA adjustments, and complex derivatives
• A track record of designing target operating models and executing large-scale control automation
• Proficiency in leveraging data-centric tools (SQL, Python, or BI platforms)
• Outstanding communication and influencing skills
• Exceptional composure, mental toughness, and decisive leadership under pressure
• A bachelor’s or master’s degree in finance, economics, engineering, mathematics, or a related quantitative field

Nice to have

• Professional qualifications, such as CFA, FRM, or recognised accounting credentials (ACA, ACCA, CPA)
• Direct experience scaling a trading or treasury finance function within a high-growth fintech, digital asset exchange, or neobank
• Subject matter expertise in digital asset/cryptocurrency valuation frameworks and decentralised liquidity mechanics
