A fast-growing slot studio preparing to go to market, with a portfolio of games and ambitious plans for the next two years. We are hiring our first Head of Legal to build a legal function that actually drives the business forward, not just keeps up with it.
Our Head of Legal owns the full legal agenda: commercial contracts, licensing, IP, corporate structure, and people-related agreements. The company is scaling its partner base and needs someone to turn ad-hoc legal support into a proper function with templates, clear ownership, and a team that runs on process rather than individual heroics.
Core responsibilities
- Lead negotiation and execution of partner agreements, with the judgment to know which commercial terms are non-negotiable and where there's room to close the deal
- Own the template library and standard positions on key commercial terms
- Manage vendor contracts and IP matters, from content and development agreements to trademark protection
- Drive licensing work (new applications and ongoing compliance) together with the compliance team
- Handle corporate matters across the group's jurisdictions
- Own employment-related agreements: contracts, NDAs, equity/options - working closely with HR
- Manage a legal team: set priorities, build workflow, own turnaround times
- Engage and manage external counsel and law firms where needed
- Identify where AI tools can be applied to contract work and implement them
What we're looking for
- 5+ legal experience in iGaming, including time spent leading or co-leading a legal function
- Hands-on experience with commercial contracts from the provider, platform, or aggregator side
- Track record of building legal process from the ground up, not just operating within an existing one
- Strong communication skills and the ability to lead a team and drive priorities independently
- Russian or Ukrainian, fluent English
- Practical experience applying AI tools in legal work
What We Offer
- Fixed salary, paid on time
- Remote-first: work from anywhere in Europe or Ukraine
- Tools and AI subscriptions covered
- You build and own the legal function, not just execute on it
- Direct support from owners and a senior team, not layers of approval
- Long-term, stable cooperation with a growing company
