Job summary

Stratosphere, a crypto and finance media company, is seeking a Finance Lead to oversee all financial operations, reporting, budgeting, and cash flow while aligning with strategic goals. You will manage purchases, expenses, payments, and cryptocurrency-related activities with accuracy and timeliness.

The role requires extensive accounting experience, strong knowledge of financial reporting, and proficiency in spreadsheets and accounting software.

Qualifications

• Over 5 years of experience in finance, accounting, or related role.
• Over 3 years of experience with cryptocurrency transactions.
• Strong understanding of accounting and financial reporting principles.
• Experience with invoicing, payroll processing, and expense tracking.
• Proficiency with spreadsheets and accounting software.

Responsibilities

• Lead and oversee Stratosphere's finance function, including financial operations, reporting, budgeting, and cash flow.
• Manage company purchases, expenses, financial transactions, and payment approvals.
• Oversee cryptocurrency-related financial activities, including transactions and record-keeping.
• Supervise invoicing, contracts, payroll processing, and timely payments to contractors and vendors.

The role

• Lead and oversee Stratosphere's finance function, ensuring the effective management of financial operations, reporting, budgeting, and cash flow while supporting our strategic objectives.
• Manage company purchases, expenses, financial transactions, and payment approvals, ensuring expenditures are properly authorized, documented, and aligned with operational and financial priorities.
• Oversee cryptocurrency-related financial activities, including transaction management, portfolio tracking, reconciliation, and maintaining accurate records of digital asset holdings and movements.
• Supervise the preparation and issuance of invoices, contracts, and other financial documentation, while overseeing payroll processing and ensuring contractors, employees, and vendors are paid accurately and on time.

What we are looking for

• Over 5 years of experience in finance, accounting, or a related role
• Over 3 years of experience with crypto currency transactions
• Strong understanding of accounting and financial reporting principles
• Experience with invoicing, payroll processing, and expense tracking
