Job summary

Danaher is seeking a Director of Platform Engineering in Kraków to ensure end-to-end reliability of the AI platform, drive incident management, and govern cloud infrastructure for large-scale ML workloads. You will lead DevOps, release engineering, and cross-functional teams across the globe, coordinating with stakeholder groups and senior leadership.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in CS, Engineering, or related field, or equivalent practical experience.
• 10+ years in engineering with production reliability / SRE experience at scale.
• Proven leadership across multidisciplinary engineering teams.
• Hands-on incident management for business-critical systems.
• Experience with major cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or GCP), containers (Docker, Kubernetes), and IaC (Terraform / Pulumi).
• Strong observability skills and focus on automation.
• Excellent written and verbal communication with internal customers.

Responsibilities

• Own end-to-end platform reliability for the compute and cloud platform powering AI initiatives.
• Lead the incident lifecycle across the platform including detection, triage, mitigation, and post-incident reviews.
• Design and operate GPU/accelerator fleets, capacity management, storage, and networking for AI workloads.
• Own the operational layer between infrastructure and applications: deployment, health, and support.
• Own CI/CD, infrastructure as code, environment management and release engineering.
• Serve internal AI customer teams as the reliability-focused platform provider.
• Set the reliability strategy for agentic workloads including observability and guardrails.
