Job summary

Addepto, a leading AI consulting and data engineering company, is seeking a Head of AI to shape AI strategies for enterprise clients. You will serve as a trusted advisor to C-level executives, define AI roadmaps and ROI, and guide AI initiatives from concept to production.

You will identify opportunities across business functions, build AI Centers of Excellence, and work with delivery teams to scale impact. Excellent communication in English is essential; German is a plus.

Qualifications

• Master’s degree in Computer Science, Artificial Intelligence, Business, Economics or a related field; an MBA is a plus.
• Extensive experience in AI, data or digital transformation, including senior or leadership roles in consulting or industry.
• Proven track record of defining AI strategies and taking AI initiatives from idea to measurable business impact.
• Strong understanding of modern AI (ML, Generative AI, LLMs, Agentic AI), with enough technical depth to challenge architects and assess feasibility.
• Experience building or leading AI Centers of Excellence, AI programs or transformation initiatives.
• Strong stakeholder management skills and the ability to influence and align C-level executives, business leaders and technical teams.
• Experience leading workshops and facilitating strategic discussions.
• Excellent communication, storytelling and presentation skills in English; German is a plus.
• Willingness to travel for client workshops, onboarding and on-site engagements.

Responsibilities

• Act as a trusted advisor to C-level and senior stakeholders, shaping how organizations use AI to create measurable business value
• Define and own AI strategy and roadmaps, from vision and prioritization to investment cases and expected ROI
• Identify, assess and prioritize AI opportunities across business functions, such as efficiency gains, new revenue streams, customer experience and risk reduction
• Build and scale AI Centers of Excellence, operating models and capability-building programs
• Translate business goals into AI initiatives, and work with solution architects and delivery teams to make sure they reach production and deliver results
• Monitor market trends and emerging technologies (Generative AI, Agentic AI, LLMs) and assess their strategic impact on clients’ business models and industries
• Drive AI adoption and change management, including training, communication and building AI literacy across the organization
• Contribute to business development by shaping proposals, discovery engagements and long-term client relationships
