What You'll Do

The Warsaw team is CoreWeave's EMEA hub for Hardware Compute, focusing primarily on CoreWeave Omni—our model for deploying and operating the CoreWeave Cloud Platform inside customer- and partner-owned data centres. We build, scale, and maintain the infrastructure behind high-density GPU systems, where GPU health, diagnostics, and interconnect telemetry are first-class engineering challenges across diverse hardware platforms and vendor configurations.

About The Role

As a Hardware Engineer, GPU Infrastructure, you will own GPU and interconnect health across the fleet, combining hands‑on engineering with operational support. You will automate GPU diagnostics, develop monitoring and alerting systems, and build playbooks to make GPU and PCIe failures detectable and actionable. Partnering with data centre operations teams, server OEMs, and vendors such as NVIDIA, you will lead deep root‑cause analysis across hardware, firmware, drivers, and PCIe topologies to drive long‑term fixes. Additionally, you will serve as the regional escalation point for GPU issues across EMEA and APAC, support new region bring‑ups, participate in an on‑call rotation, and feed operational insights back into automation and platform design.

Who You Are
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related technical field (or equivalent practical experience).
  • 4+ years of professional experience in hardware, infrastructure, systems, or platform engineering roles within data centre, cloud, or high‑performance computing environments.
  • 2+ years of hands‑on experience supporting and troubleshooting data centre class GPUs (H100 or newer, including InfiniBand and NVLink).
  • In-depth knowledge of server hardware, components, and management technologies, particularly GPUs and PCIe devices.
  • Proficiency in Python or Ansible, with experience programmatically interacting with server BMCs using Redfish or IPMI (Redfish preferred).
  • Hands‑on experience integrating and automating data centre GPU diagnostics, troubleshooting tools, and observability platforms (e.g., Prometheus, Grafana).
  • Demonstrated experience collaborating with hardware vendors to identify novel issues, create operational playbooks, and drive RMAs to resolution.
  • Proven experience supporting production infrastructure, driving incident escalations through to root‑cause resolution, and participating in on‑call rotations.
  • Excellent technical documentation, analytical problem‑solving skills, and fluency in written and spoken English.
Preferred
  • Experience bringing up new data centre regions or operating within customer/partner‑owned facility infrastructure.
  • Familiarity with rack‑scale GPU platforms (e.g., NVIDIA GB200 / GB300), including NVLink, NVSwitch, and InfiniBand fabrics.
  • Experience with NVIDIA diagnostic tooling, GPU driver and firmware lifecycle management, and fleet‑scale BMC management interfaces (Redfish/IPMI).
  • Strong Linux systems administration and kernel‑level debugging skills at fleet scale, including PCIe enumeration.
  • Familiarity with Kubernetes‑based services and distributed production environments.
Wondering if you're a good fit?
  • You love to: Solve complex technical challenges at the boundary of hardware, firmware, and software while automating GPU diagnostic workflows.
  • You're curious about: Uncovering the root cause of intermittent GPU/PCIe failures and optimising high‑bandwidth interconnects across massive clusters.
  • You're an expert in: Data centre GPU diagnostics, PCIe topology troubleshooting, and building reliable telemetry frameworks for AI/HPC infrastructure.
