Job summary

INNOVATIVE TECH SOLUTIONS INC is seeking a skilled Hardware Design Engineer to join our Automotive EV team on-site. The role focuses on designing and validating hardware for EV subsystems, with emphasis on safety, reliability, and manufacturability.

The candidate will collaborate with firmware, software, and mechanical engineers to develop schematics, PCB layouts, and ECUs, ensuring compliance with automotive standards. This position is onsite in Poland.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or higher in Electrical Engineering or Computer Engineering.
• 3+ years of hardware design experience, preferably in automotive/EV.
• Proficiency with Altium or Cadence.
• Experience with CAN/LIN/Ethernet automotive communication protocols.
• Familiarity with ISO 26262, ASPICE and EMC/EMI compliance.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills; good communication.

Responsibilities

• Design and develop hardware components and systems for automotive EV applications.
• Create and review schematics, PCB layouts, and hardware specifications for EV subsystems.
• Perform hardware validation, testing, and debugging of EV ECUs and power electronics.
• Collaborate with firmware, software, and mechanical engineers.
• Support DFM and DFT processes in design.
• Conduct failure analysis and implement corrective actions for reliability and safety.
• Develop and maintain technical documentation including design specs, test plans, and BOMs.

• Design and develop hardware components and systems for automotive electric vehicle (EV) applications
• Create and review schematics, PCB layouts, and hardware specifications for EV subsystems
• Perform hardware validation, testing, and debugging of EV electronic control units (ECUs) and power electronics
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams including firmware, software, and mechanical engineers
• Support design for manufacturability (DFM) and design for testability (DFT) processes
• Conduct failure analysis and implement corrective actions to ensure hardware reliability and safety compliance

Requirements
