GrantWriter

At Sano we aredeveloping theGrand Office Team.We areseekinga highly motivated and detail-oriented GrantWriter to support the developmentand administration of grant applications.

This position with hands-on involvement inidentifyingfunding opportunities and preparing competitive grant proposals.

As the GrantWriter , you will play a key role inacquiringfunding from national and international sources (including Horizon Europe and ERC programs). Working hand in hand with researchers and other Sano teams, you will ensure the financial sustainability and strategic growth of the centre. You will report directly to the Head of Grant Office andcooperate withinan experiencedteam.

What are you going to do?

The selected candidate will work closely with principal investigators, research teams, support staff, and external partners to ensure successful execution of grant activities, especially in proposal development.

Your key responsibilities:

• Active participation in planning and realization of Sano’s activities related to acquisition of funds, including European framework programs, Polish operationalprogramsand others,
• Identificationandanalysisofrelevantfundingopportunitiesfor Sanoresearchers,
• Coordinationof theproposaldevelopmentprocessincludingcontentcreation,budgetpreparation,
• Participation in the creation of R&D consortia and the management of their operations,
• Collaboration with research teams including Research Team Leaders as well as the third parties,
• Creation of project documentation according to the rules and regulations of a given program,
• Operational contact with institutions responsible for project realization and project/WP leads,
• Preparation of periodicandfinal reports,
• Close collaboration with project managers within Sano,
• Acquisition of funding fromi.e.seed and VC capitals, private investors /angeland others.

What do werequire?

As our successful candidate you should have:

• Higher education degree (Bachelor’s orMaster’s)preferably in science, economics, publicadministration,socialsciencesorrelated.A PhD is a plus but notrequired.
• Proven experience in research grant writingandfundraising.
• Strong understanding of the academic or R&D environment and funding mechanisms (e.g., Horizon Europe,FNP,NCN, NCBR,etc.)ideally with experience in international research projects.
• Excellent organizational and time-management skills,ability to meet strict deadlines.
• Fluentwritten and verbal communication skills in English;additionallanguages are an asset.
• Ability to work independently as well as part of a multidisciplinary team.
• Analytical abilities, knowledgeofbudgeting and basic financial concepts.
• Proficiencywith project management tools and office software (e.g., MS Office,Jira,MS Project, Trello, etc.).
