Job summary

You will contribute to solver architecture, GPU acceleration, and multiphysics model implementation, collaborating with users and support engineers to keep the software scientifically rigorous and practically useful.

The role focuses on fluid dynamics, multiphase flows, advection-diffusion, particle mechanics, and heat transfer, with an emphasis on scalable GPU architectures and distributed memory systems.

Qualifications

• Expertise with Lattice Boltzmann Methods (LBM) for fluid simulation.
• Background in numerical methods for transport physics (fluid dynamics, advection-diffusion, particle mechanics, or heat transfer).
• Writing high-performance physics codes using parallel computing in shared and distributed memory systems.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain M-Star’s CFD solver, including features and validation.
• Translate academic research into a high-performance software product.
• Model physics like fluid dynamics, multiphase flows, advection-diffusion, particle mechanics, heat transfer.
• Implement meshing algorithms and data structures for GPU architectures in distributed memory.
