Job summary

Takeda Lodz, Poland, is seeking a Sourcing Specialist to drive category strategies from supplier identification through contract finalization. You will coordinate competitive tenders and e-auctions, engage suppliers, and support negotiations with the Global Procurement team.

The role requires experience with eSourcing systems (SAP Ariba Sourcing), Archlet, and strong spend analysis skills. A bachelor’s degree or 3+ years in procurement is expected; travel may be limited.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or at least 3 years of operational procurement experience.
• Demonstrated experience leading RFx events and managing global or regional tenders end-to-end.
• Hands-on experience with eSourcing systems, preferably SAP Ariba Sourcing, including e-auctions; Archlet knowledge is a plus.
• Proven knowledge of procurement, contracting processes, contract development, supplier relationship management, and risk management.
• Strong analytical and quantitative skills, including cost modeling, price analysis, bid comparison, and spend analysis.
• Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel; Power BI; automation tools (UiPath/Power Automate) a plus.
• Fluent business English; additional languages are an asset.
• Ability to translate business requirements into effective sourcing events and recommendations.
• Ability to work independently.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate and manage sourcing projects with defined scope, objectives, timelines, and deliverables.
• Prepare, configure, administer, and run RFx events and e-auctions using eSourcing systems (e.g., SAP Ariba, Archlet).
• Onboard invited suppliers for online sourcing events and support them through to award.
• Support negotiations under category guidance and escalate where needed.
• Analyze spend, supplier proposals, and pricing to inform category and sourcing strategies.
• Maintain information flow with Category team and identify opportunities to aggregate demand and generate value.
• Contribute to deployment and improvement of procurement systems and tools.
