Job summary

Sii Poland is seeking an experienced IT security specialist to maintain and enhance our global security infrastructure. You will work with firewalls, WAF, and VPN, monitor security resources, and support incidents while collaborating with IT teams worldwide.

The role requires 5+ years in IT security, familiarity with Azure security tools, SIEM, and strong English; Polish fluency is required and a trip to Switzerland may be needed. This position is based in Poland.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years of experience in IT security.
• Experience with enterprise-class firewalls (Palo Alto, Fortinet, Cisco ASA/Firepower) and VPN, WAF, and IDS/IPS technologies.
• Familiarity with Microsoft Azure security tools (Azure Firewall, NSG, Sentinel, Defender) and SIEM platforms.
• Knowledge of computer networking (TCP/IP, routing, switching, VLAN) and basic automation in Python, PowerShell, or via API.
• Very good command of English (B2/C1) and Polish (fluent).
• Willingness to undertake a week-long deployment trip to Switzerland and collaborate internationally.

Responsibilities

• Maintain and manage security infrastructure components (firewalls, WAF, VPN).
• Monitor health and performance of security resources.
• Provide level 1 and 2 support for security incidents and requests.
• Collaborate with security engineering to implement best practices.
• Maintain accurate technical documentation.
• Coordinate with local and international IT teams for operational synergy.
• Contribute to improvement of security operational processes.
