Job summary

Hitachi Energy is seeking a Senior SCM Digitalization professional to join the Supply Chain Management team in Poland. You will define objectives, develop detailed implementation plans, and drive global digitalization initiatives from concept to adoption, focusing on regulatory compliance, data quality, and scalable digital solutions.

Qualifications

• Degree in Supply Chain Management, Engineering, Information Technology, Business Administration, Data Management, or a related field.
• 5+ years of experience in Supply Chain Management, digital transformation, project management, operations, procurement, data management, or related function.
• Experience managing cross-functional initiatives in global or multi-site environments.
• Strong understanding of SCM processes, product and material data, regulatory requirements, data quality, and process governance.
• Proficiency with project management software; ERP/reporting/workflow tools are advantageous.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities with the capacity to structure complex requirements into actionable steps.
• Excellent verbal and written communication; capable of engaging diverse functions and levels.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team.
• Collaborative mindset with ownership and interest in digitalization, compliance, data quality, and continuous improvement.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement global SCM digitalization initiatives and roadmaps, focusing on regulatory requirements, product and material data, process governance, and business value delivery.
• Lead cross-functional project teams to achieve objectives, milestones, and adoption targets.
• Translate regulatory and business requirements into practical SCM processes, data needs, system requirements, and implementation plans.
• Gather and analyze feedback from SCM and other stakeholders to refine digital solutions.
• Ensure SCM digital processes, tools, and data flows meet internal policies, regulatory expectations, and global standards.
• Identify and mitigate project risks, data gaps, process dependencies, and implementation barriers through structured actions.
• Define and maintain governance processes for SCM digital solutions, data requirements, and related workflows.
• Execute global initiatives by developing project plans, coordinating resources, and ensuring clear ownership across regions.
• Measure progress and drive actionable improvements for SCM digital initiatives.
• Design and support communication, training, and adoption activities to build SCM team capabilities.
