Job summary

THOST Projektmanagement GmbH is seeking a skilled project manager to lead railway projects both nationally and internationally. The role covers planning, cost control, quality, deadlines, contracts, processes, and schedules, with emphasis on risk management.

You will work with BIM, interface with clients and investors, and coordinate project teams, requiring 2–5 years in railway PM and strong communication in Polish and English.

Qualifications

• Technical studies in civil engineering, design, architecture, or MEP completed.
• 2–5 years’ experience in railway project management.
• Knowledge of project planning, procurement, contracts and amendments.
• Analytical thinking, planning and organisational talent, and excellent communication skills.
• Fluent in Polish and English for business contexts.
• MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook), MS Project and/or Oracle, Power BI.
• Willingness to travel nationally and internationally.
• PMI/GPM certification ideal; Polish railway licenses ideal.

Responsibilities

• Project management of national and international railway projects.
• Plan and manage costs, quality, deadlines, contracts, processes and schedules.
• Contract and risk management of complex, time-critical construction projects.
• Building Information Modelling.
• Interface management between clients, investors and users.
• Project organization and coordination.
