Job summary

EY GDS Poland is seeking an experienced Data Protection Incident Response Assistant Director to join the Global Delivery Services team supporting the General Counsel’s Office.

The role requires leading cross-border privacy incident management, providing legal oversight, coordinating with Information Security and risk teams, and driving ongoing improvement of EY’s incident response framework across jurisdictions. Fluency in English and a strong GDPR background are essential.

Qualifications

• Must be a qualified lawyer with consistent strong academic record.
• Mandatory a CIPP (E) certified.
• Other recognised privacy certifications will be considered an advantage.

Responsibilities

• Provide legal oversight of global data protection incidents.
• Coordinate with Information Security and GC teams across jurisdictions.
• Develop and maintain incident tracking, reporting, and metrics.
• Support improvement of EY's global data incident response framework.
• Communicate requirements to stakeholders and guide cross-border handling.
• Collaborate with data protection, risk, Infosec and GC teams globally.
