Job summary

Arrow Enterprise Computing Solutions is hiring a General Ledger Accountant with Italian to join our finance team in Gdańsk. You will manage GL accounting, month-end close, VAT and tax reporting for Italian entities, and provide internal reporting to European and US offices.

The role requires at least 3 years in GL/Record-to-Report, strong Excel skills, and fluency in English and Italian. We offer a permanent contract, hybrid work, private healthcare, and a collaborative international environment.

Job Description

General Ledger Accountant

As a General Ledger Accountant, you will be involved in General Ledger controlling and reporting, compliance, tax, statutory, and multiple general accounting and reporting activities, along with a range of other financial reconciliation and control tasks as required within the team.

What You Will Be Doing at Arrow?

• Control and manage the accuracy of General Ledger for the assigned Arrow companies
• Complete all relevant month-end financial close procedures
• Statutory reporting for Arrow Italian companies
• Corporate income tax calculations and reporting
• Prepare and be responsible for all necessary internal reporting required within Europe and to US head office
• Statutory/Corporate reconciliations and European consolidation.
• Control and prepare VAT, Intrastat and Sales List Reporting, submission of Vat Returns and related compliance
• Support and be involved with all audit work
• Facilities and restructuring accounting and control
• Carry out relevant Sarbanes Oxley controls
• Hedging and Revaluation
• Support other accountants within the team on a variety of tasks in order to meet the total needs of the finance department
• Involvement with developing new/efficient processes/procedures within the accounting team
• Provide support and assistance to the Accounting Manager on projects and ad-hoc tasks

What Are We Looking For?

• At least 3 years of previous experience in General Ledger / Record-to-Report accounting,
• good understanding of GL and financial accounting processes,
• experience with month-end closing and financial reporting,
• knowledge of VAT and tax processes for Italian market,
• experience with reconciliations and statutory accounting,
• good knowledge of Excel,
• experience with an ERP systems ( Oracle preferred)
• good command of English and Italian (at least B2 level)
• analytical and well-organized approach to work,
• ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities.
