Job summary

EY Global Delivery Services seeks a highly skilled GCP Data Architect to design cloud data solutions for multinational client projects. You will lead architecture discussions, guide delivery teams, and ensure scalable, compliant data architectures across regions.

Ideal candidates have 8+ years of hands-on experience, deep GCP expertise, and strong English; French B1 is a bonus. This hybrid role offers collaboration with global leaders and a diverse team.

Qualifications

• 8+ years of professional, hands-on experience building complex solutions.
• 3+ years in an Architect role designing and building complex data solutions.
• 3+ years’ experience with Google Cloud Platform (GCP).
• Understanding data fabric, data mesh, data vault.
• Ability to facilitate design discussions and communicate architectural decisions.
• Experience in creating reliable solution plans with costs and delivery approaches.
• Demonstrated strategic thinking researching client inquiries and regulatory issues.
• Experience using Agile methodologies (Scrum, Kanban, etc.).
• Very good English (verbal and written).

Job description

Location: Warsaw / Katowice - 2 days in office / 3 days remote

Your Key Responsibilities

As a GCP Data Architect you will be responsible for designing of solution architecture for organization in a cloud.

Solving complex business problems at large scale. Participating in a cross-functional initiatives and collaborating across various domains. Interacting with specialists, product/project managers and partners from all over the world.

To qualify for the role, you must have

• 8+ years of professional, hands-on experience building complex solution
• 3+ years working in an Architect role including: designing and building complex data solutions
• 3+ years’ experience with Google Cloud Platform (GCP)
• Understanding data fabric, data mesh, data vault
• Ability to facilitate design discussions and communicate architectural decisions
• Experience in creating reliable solution plans in a cooperation with business and multi-disciplinary teams: costs estimation, delivery approaches
• Demonstrated strategic thinking through a proven ability to research client inquiries and emerging issues related to regulations, industry practice and new application technologies
• Experience in using Agile methodologies (Scrum, Kanban, etc.)
• Very good English (verbal and written)

Ideally, you'll also have

• French language at B1 level
• Hands-on, professional experience with BI/ETL/Bigdata Technologies
• Strong understanding and experience with design techniques of relational databases
• Experience with data lakes with Databricks or Snowflake
• Experience with real-time data processing and data warehousing aggregation
