Job summary

Xebia is seeking a senior data platform architect to design and implement a modern data platform on Google Cloud. You will model data flows, select GCP services, and produce architectural documentation to guide platform decisions.

You will enable CI/CD, Infrastructure as Code, and participate in architecture workshops with business and technical stakeholders across the EU region. EU work eligibility is required.

Qualifications

• Experience designing end-to-end data ingestion and processing solutions.
• Knowledge of BigQuery and either DBT or Dataproc.
• Experience with data modelling and data-flow design.
• Understanding of Medallion and Hub & Spoke patterns.
• Experience selecting and integrating GCP services such as Dataproc, Pub/Sub, Cloud Storage, BigQuery and Composer.
• Experience designing synchronous and asynchronous integrations and event-driven architectures.
• Knowledge of data-retention, purging and Disaster Recovery concepts.
• Experience with GitHub Enterprise Cloud, CI/CD and Terraform.
• Ability to create HLD, LLD, ADR documentation and architectural diagrams.
• Strong communication skills with the ability to present, justify and defend architectural decisions.
• Experience conducting workshops and collaborating with business and technical stakeholders.

You will be:

• designing and developing a modern data platform based on Google Cloud technologies,

Your profile:
