Job summary

EY GDS Poland is seeking a senior GCP Data Architect to design cloud data solutions and lead architecture discussions across international projects. You will collaborate with global teams to implement scalable data architectures and drive data initiatives using the latest technology stack.

The role requires 8+ years of hands-on experience, 3+ years in an architect role, and strong English communication. Hybrid work arrangement with 2 days in office and 3 days remote, based in Katowice or Wrocław.

Qualifications

Your key responsibilities

As a GCP Data Architect you will be responsible for designing of solution architecture for organization in a cloud.

Skills and attributes for success

To qualify for the role, you must have

• 8+ years of professional, hands‑on experience building complex solution
• 3+ years working in an Architect role including: designing and building complex data solutions
• 3+ years’ experience with Google Cloud Platform (GCP)
• Ability to facilitate design discussions and communicate architectural decisions
• Experience in creating reliable solution plans in a cooperation with business and multi-disciplinary teams: costs estimation, delivery approaches
• Demonstrated strategic thinking through a proven ability to research client inquiries and emerging issues related to regulations, industry practice and new application technologies
• Experience in using Agile methodologies (Scrum, Kanban, etc.)
• Very good English (verbal and written)

Ideally, you’ll also have

• French language at B1 level
• Hands‑on, professional experience with BI/ETL/Bigdata Technologies
• Strong understanding and experience with design techniques of relational databases
• Experience with data lakes with Databricks or Snowflake
• Experience with real‑time data processing and data warehousing aggregation
