Job summary

Hoorya is seeking a software engineer with commercial experience in PHP and JavaScript for a fully remote EU-wide role, with priority for candidates in Poland. The ideal candidate will contribute to backend and frontend development, work within a team of up to 50 people, and actively participate in technical discussions.

Strong English communication is required for all calls and documentation. We value proactive contributors who ask clarifying questions, flag risks, and bring ideas to code

Qualifications

• Commercial experience with PHP and JavaScript.
• Experience with modern JS frameworks (Vue.js preferred).
• Strong understanding of OOP, interfaces, and clean code principles.
• Experience with PSR-4 standards and service-oriented architecture (SOA).
• Experience with unit testing (PHPUnit or similar).
• Upper-Intermediate+ English, spoken and written.
• Demonstrated ability to communicate proactively: asking questions, giving feedback, contributing opinions.
