Job summary

Luxoft Poland is looking for a senior engineer to lead a small initial team and scale it into a full scrum team based on delivery performance and collaboration fit. The role requires strong analytical skills, comfort in examining log files, and the ability to understand fully integrated systems.

The candidate should have experience with cloud platforms, infra automation, and languages such as Scala/Java/Kotlin, plus Elastic/Open Search and basic SQL.

Qualifications

• Experience with modern cloud platforms and infrastructure automation.
• Scala or Java or Kotlin knowledge; capable of understanding Scala code with other languages understood.
• Experience with Elastic Search or Open Search.
• Basic SQL skills.
• Experience with responsive design and accessibility requirements.

Responsibilities

• Start with a small senior team and scale the team based on delivery performance and collaboration fit to a full scrum team.
• Understand concepts, dig through log files, and analyze integrated systems.
• Communicate clearly and apply common sense to technical challenges.
• Maintain and improve system architecture through analytical thinking.

Job description

The initial request is to start with a small senior team, with the plan to scale further based on delivery performance and collaboration fit to a full scrum team. Most important for us is someone who is able to understand concepts, not afraid to dig through log files, communicate clearly and is able to use common sense. We need someone who can understand a fully integrated systems and has analytical skills and the right mindset.

Scope of Work

Mandatory Skills Description

• Scala / Java or Kotlin (our application is in Scala but an engineer with either of the other two languages should be able to understand it)
• Elastic Search / Open Search
• Basic SQL skills
• Experience with responsive design and accessibility requirements
