Responsibilities

Job description

• Backend Development: Design and implement backend services and REST APIs using .NET 9 following Clean Architecture principles (API, Application, Domain, Infrastructure).
• Frontend Development: Build and maintain React / TypeScript micro-frontends using a shared UI component library integrated into the HILDA 2 Shell via Module Federation.
• Database Management: Evolve MSSQL / Azure SQL schemas using a database-first model (SSDT, stored procedures, views), writing and tuning queries with EF Core.
• Legacy Modernization: Read, refactor, and extract business logic from legacy systems (.NET, ASP.NET MVC/Razor, WPF/WinForms, Windows Services, T-SQL, SSIS) during incremental migration.
• Agile Collaboration: Contribute code across production repositories, actively participate in Agile ceremonies, estimate work, define acceptance criteria, and review pull requests within short iteration cycles.

Cloud, Infrastructure & DevOps

• Infrastructure as Code (IaC): Author and maintain IaC using Terraform (and Bicep/ARM) to provision and manage multi-environment Azure resources.
• CI/CD Pipelines: Build, optimize, and support Azure DevOps YAML pipelines-as-code for build, test, release, and environment promotion.
• Security & Authentication: Integrate Azure AD / Entra ID and MSAL authentication, applying security best practices (Azure Key Vault, least privilege, OAuth/JWT, API versioning and validation).
• Observability & Reliability: Instrument services using Application Insights, OpenTelemetry, Serilog structured logging, and health checks. Troubleshoot production incidents, deliver fixes, and support deployments.

Qualifications & Requirements

Language & Soft Skills

• English: B2 level or higher for technical communication.
• Adaptability: Ability to move flexibly between backend, frontend, database, and infrastructure/DevOps tasks based on sprint priorities.

Core Technical Skills

• Backend: Hands-on commercial experience with C#, .NET (.NET 6–9), ASP.NET Core, ASP.NET MVC, EF Core, and C++.
• Frontend: Commercial experience with React, TypeScript, and Micro-frontends (Module Federation).
• Database & Data Reporting: MSSQL / Azure SQL (indexing, transactions, stored procedures, query tuning), alongside exposure to Azure Data Factory, Databricks, Spark, Power BI, or SSRS.
• Cloud & DevOps (Azure): Hands-on experience with App Service, Azure SQL, Storage, Key Vault, Azure Functions, Docker, Kubernetes (AKS), Terraform, and Azure DevOps YAML pipelines.
• Testing: Automated testing experience using xUnit, Jest, Vitest, or Playwright.
• Integration: Event-driven architecture using Azure Service Bus or Event Hubs.

Nice-to-Have / Certifications

• Certifications: Azure Certifications (AZ-204, AZ-400, AZ-104) or HashiCorp Certified: Terraform Associate.
