Job Description

• Design and develop a range of software components, microservices, and applications within the IoT and Cloud (Azure) environment.
• Collaborate with business stakeholders to translate requirements into detailed technical designs.
• Contribute to system architecture, providing accurate time estimates for development tasks.
• Implement new features and enhancements to existing IoT applications.
• Develop and maintain technical documentation, including design and configuration details.
• Manage individual tasks and deliverables independently to meet project timelines.
• Work closely with the Digital Architect to ensure alignment between technical solutions and business requirements.
• Follow IT Control Policies and best practices for secure, reliable development.
• Utilize source control (Azure DevOps / Git) and CI/CD tools for deployment automation.
• Research, evaluate, and implement emerging technologies relevant to IoT and Cloud solutions.
• Participate actively in all stages of the Software Development Lifecycle (SDLC) - from analysis and design to coding, testing, and deployment.
• Set up, deploy, and maintain multiple development environments supporting Agile development processes.

The Successful Applicant

• Has a minimum of 5 years' experience in software development, with a strong background in web, AI, and cloud-based solutions.
• Demonstrates solid experience with Angular and C# .NET development.
• Possesses hands-on knowledge of REST APIs, microservices architecture, and cloud-native solutions.
• Experienced with Azure Cloud Services, including PaaS solutions such as Web Apps, Functions, Azure SQL, Cosmos DB, and Data Lake.
• Familiar with HTML5, CSS3, Material, Tailwind, and responsive UI/UX design principles.
• Skilled in source control (Azure DevOps / Git) and Continuous Integration & Deployment (CI/CD) tools and processes.
• Understands distributed systems, NoSQL databases, and scalable data storage design.
• Experience in Hybrid Mobile App development is a plus.
• Holds or is working towards Microsoft Azure Certification (advantageous).
• Works comfortably within Agile/Scrum environments and contributes to iterative development processes.
