As part of Danone’s journey to pioneerIndustry 5.0, this role sits within the Digital Operations team driving digital transformation across Danone’s global manufacturing footprint. Based at the newly established, first‑of‑its‑kindIndustry 5.0 Academy in Opole, Poland, the engineer will help shape and operate a cutting‑edge technology stack built on modern cloud technologies supporting Industrial IoT applications.

This role is instrumental in defining the future of digital infrastructure for Danone’s manufacturing operations worldwide with a special focus on key areas in our specialized nutrition business category.

About You

• 5+ years of experience in data engineering with strongPython programming skills.
• 5+ years of experience in full stack web development.
• Proficiency inSQL for complex data manipulation, optimization, and database design.
• Experience withcontainerization usingDocker andKubernetes.
• Proficiency inGitHub andGitHub Actions for CI/CD pipeline development and management.
• Hands‑on experience withtime‑series databases such asInfluxDB orTimescaleDB.
• Experience with relational databases such as SQL Server, Postgre and similar database technologies.
• Experience building applications withStreamlit or similar Python web frameworks.
• Strong knowledge ofHTML, CSS, and JavaScript, including experience with frameworks likeReact orAngular.
• Experience withGrafana for dashboard creation, alerting, and data visualization.
• Familiarity with theDatabricks platform and Apache Spark for data processing and analytics workflows.
• Solid understanding ofdata modeling principles andETL/ELT design patterns.
• Previous experience insolution development for manufacturing digitalization is a plus.
• Business‑level English proficiency is required.
