Job summary

Cisco's Webex Engineering Group in Kraków is seeking a Software Engineer to design, implement, and maintain end-to-end software features across the stack. You will work with senior engineers to build scalable solutions and contribute to the efficiency of our global partner network.

You will develop frontend components with Angular, HTML5, and CSS3 while building distributed microservices using Java, Node.js, and Python.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or an equivalent field.
• 3+ years of professional software engineering experience.
• Foundational knowledge of full-stack development and production software environments.
• Demonstrated ability to learn new technologies quickly.

Responsibilities

• Design, implement, and maintain full-stack software features across frontend and backend.
• Develop responsive frontend components using Angular, HTML5, and CSS3.
• Build and maintain distributed, highly available microservices using Java, Node.js, and Python.
• Participate in the full software development lifecycle, including design discussions, code reviews, and testing.
• Improve system performance, reliability, and observability across the stack.
• Collaborate with product, SRE, and DevOps teams to deliver quality software.
• Leverage AI-assisted coding tools to accelerate development and learning.
