Job summary

Emporix is seeking a skilled Frontend Developer in Poland to join our team at the intersection of modern web engineering and user experience. You will translate complex commerce workflows into clean, responsive interfaces, collaborating with UX/UI, product, and backend teams.

You will build high-performance web apps with React and TypeScript, implement REST/GraphQL integrations, and ensure maintainable architecture with strong test coverage.

Qualifications

• Experience: 3+ years as a Frontend Developer building scalable, production-grade web apps.
• Strong proficiency in React, JavaScript, CSS, and modern web APIs (GraphQL, REST, OAuth, JWT).
• Hands-on TypeScript experience and frontend SDK development.
• Excellent eye for UX/design alignment and translating designs from Figma or design systems.
• Solid frontend architecture knowledge and automated testing approaches (Unit, E2E).

We are looking for a skilled Frontend Developer to join our team in Poland, working at the intersection of modern web engineering and intuitive user experience. In this role, you will collaborate closely with our UX/UI design and product teams to translate complex commerce workflows into clean, responsive, and performant interfaces. If you're passionate about React, frontend architecture, and building seamless user experiences, we’d love to hear from you.

You can work from our modern office in Gliwice or remotely from anywhere in Poland, with a visit to the office at least once per month to meet the team.

What You’ll Be Doing

• Design, build, and maintain high-performance, scalable web applications and frontend SDKs using React, TypeScript, and modern web standards.

API Integration & Data Flow

• Connect client-side applications to backend microservices via REST and GraphQL APIs, ensuring robust state management, high performance, and secure authentication (OAuth, JWT).

UI/UX Craftsmanship

• Partner closely with UX/UI designers to translate Figma specifications and design systems into modular, highly accessible, and maintainable component architectures.

Software Quality & Testing

• Maintain high standards of software craftsmanship by writing clean, modular code adhering to modern engineering principles (SOLID, clean code) and ensuring strong test coverage (Unit, E2E/BDD).

Cross-Functional Collaboration

• Work alongside backend engineers, Product Managers, and designers to refine platform capabilities, optimize client-side performance, and deliver end-to-end commerce workflows.

What We’re Looking For

• Experience: You have 3+ years of hands-on experience as a Frontend Developer building scalable, production-grade web applications.
• Education: You hold a degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or a related technical field (or equivalent practical experience).
• Core Tech Stack: Strong proficiency in React, JavaScript, CSS, and modern web APIs (GraphQL, REST, OAuth, JWT).
• TypeScript & SDKs: Hands-on experience with TypeScript and frontend SDK development.
• UX & Design Alignment: Strong eye for design, detail, and user experience, with practical experience building interfaces directly from Figma or design systems.
• Engineering Standards: Solid grasp of frontend architecture, component patterns, and automated testing strategies (Unit, E2E).
• Mindset & Ownership: Highly autonomous, hands-on, and organized, with a focus on code quality, performance, and usability.
• Communication: You communicate effectively in both Polish and English (minimum B2 level).

• Design Systems: Experience building or maintaining shared UI component libraries (e.g., Storybook).
• Architecture: Familiarity with microservices architectures or headless commerce platforms.
