Job summary

Branchspace, a growing Krakow office, is seeking an ambitious Front-End Software Engineer to join the engineering team. This full-time role focuses on greenfield web applications for travel brands and enterprises, with hands-on architecture, design and coding responsibilities.

You will collaborate with Product and UX to define requirements and roadmap, and contribute to agile practices like CI and TDD while evaluating new technologies.

Qualifications

• Greenfield development of a web application product for enterprise clients.
• Hands-on architecture, design and coding responsibilities.
• Collaborate with Product and UX teams to elicit requirements and roadmap.
• Adopt and improve agile practices, including CI and TDD.
• Up to five years of development experience.
• Proven track record of high-performance web applications.
• First class honours degree in Computer Science, Software/Computer Engineering or IT.

What the role involves

• Greenfield development of a web application product, delivered to enterprise clients and used by consumers
• Hands-on architecture, design and coding
• Work with Product and UX teams to elaborate requirements and develop a technology roadmap and architecture
• Implement and enhance effective agile dev practices e.g. CI, TDD.
• Evaluate and implement emerging technologies, tools and development practices
• Up to five years of job experience as a developer
• Track record of designing and building mission-critical, high performance web applications
• First class honours degree in Computer Science, Software/Computer Engineering or Information Technology
• Experience with any of the following systems desired: payment integrations, reservation systems, customer profiles, content management, data collection / storage / processing frameworks.
