Job summary

WhyHireWrong? is building an AI-first IT operations platform from day one, with ownership of the web application layer for a founder-led team in Poland.

You will lead frontend architecture in Angular and build backend services in Kotlin, while shaping product architecture and data models for identity, devices, and SaaS lifecycles. Daily use of AI coding tools (Cursor, GitHub Copilot, or Claude Code) will be a core part of production work, paired with design reviews and frequent architectural

Qualifications

• 5+ years of professional software development experience.
• Proficiency in Kotlin for backend work.
• Proficiency in Angular for frontend work.
• Active daily use of an AI coding tool in production workflows.
• Working experience with GCP and PostgreSQL.

Responsibilities

• Own the frontend architecture in Angular: component structure, state management, routing, and reusable UI patterns for complex operational workflows.
• Build and maintain backend services in Kotlin, including API design and integration with the frontend.
• Design and query Postgres schemas to support identity, device, and SaaS lifecycle data.
• Deploy and operate services on GCP.
• Use AI coding tools as a core part of daily development.
• Translate operational workflows into clear, usable interfaces.
• Make architectural decisions independently in a founder-led environment.
