Description

The Foreign Trade Reporting Specialist is the central point of contact for all foreign trade reporting inquiries within the Mercedes-Benz group, responsible for governance, training, quality control, and reporting to top management. As part of our team, you will take on responsibility for sub-projects and diverse, exciting tasks with a significant impact across the entire organization.

Your Responsibilities Will Include:

  • Identifying and remediating weaknesses in foreign trade reporting processes within SAP.
  • Continuously optimizing processes to enhance efficiency while ensuring compliance with all regulatory requirements.
  • Creating Process Flow Charts (PFC) in BPMN 2.0 standard and integrating them into the company's process house for an end-to-end view.
  • Developing and maintaining reporting tools, including Excel-based solutions with VBA codes.
  • Administering and further developing our quality management tool, defining audit procedures and controls in PowerBI.
  • Creating test concepts, as well as recording and executing test cases in SAP.
  • Maintaining master data in SAP to ensure accurate derivation of foreign trade reporting-relevant facts.
  • Supporting the team in responding to inquiries from the German Bundesbank.

Qualifications

Previous experience in finance, accounting, controlling or related

Experience with project management

SAP/S4 Hana knowledge

Excellent analytical and problem‑solving skills.

Fluent German would be a significant plus
