Sii Poland is hiring for a Kotlin backend specialist to design, build, and maintain microservices within a fintech platform. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver solutions across multiple domains and help improve system reliability and scalability.

Role requires 3+ years of experience, strong Kotlin skills, and knowledge of cloud environments, PostgreSQL, and observability tools. Based in Poland, Warsaw area; English proficiency is essential.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of professional software development.
• Hands-on Kotlin in commercial projects.
• Experience with backend systems and microservices.
• Basic cloud experience (AWS, Kubernetes).
• Experience with PostgreSQL and testing/observability tools (JUnit, Grafana).
• Good command of English.
• Residing in Poland required.

Responsibilities

• Design, build, and maintain microservices using Kotlin.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams across Platform, Services, SMB, and others.
• Support system performance monitoring and reliability improvements.
• Participate in code reviews and uphold high code quality.
• Contribute to ongoing code quality and system architecture improvements.
• Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues.
