Job summary

A growing financial services company seeks a Financial Accountant in Kraków who will support reporting and analysis for local Portfolio Companies. The ideal candidate has a degree in Accounting or Finance, 3-5 years of experience in GL accounting, and strong analytical skills. Responsibilities include preparing financial reports, variance analysis, and collaborating with teams. Fluent Polish and English are required, alongside proficiency in financial analysis tools and advanced MS Excel.

Qualifications

• 3-5 years of experience as GL accountant or Reporting Specialist.
• Strong knowledge of financial reporting and IFRS.
• Excellent analytical skills to interpret complex financial data.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and analyse monthly and annual financial reports.
• Perform variance analysis to identify deviations from budget.
• Collaborate with teams to develop budgets and financial plans.
• Monitor key performance indicators to assess business performance.
• Conduct cost analysis to support pricing and cost-saving initiatives.
• Participate in month-end and year-end closing processes.
