Job summary

Trinasolar is seeking a hands-on Site Commissioning Engineer to support on-site installations and commissioning of energy storage projects across Eastern Europe. You will supervise site activities, ensure delivery of equipment, and coordinate with engineering and project managers to track progress.

Required is a suitable electrical engineering degree and experience in commissioning or maintenance of electrical equipment for Solar PV or BESS.

• Must have experience adhering to safety regulations in an operational setting.

Requirements

• Suitable engineering/electrical degree or qualifications
• Related experience in commissioning or maintenance of electrical equipment in the context of Solar PV and/or Battery Energy Storage System (BESS) projects
• Must have experience on adhering to safety regulations in an operational setting
• Strong site experience and hands-on mentality
• Familiar with related electrical standards, Regulations and Legislation
• Ability to adapt to dynamic conditions and stay focused/execute on goals under tight deadlines
• Highly developed interpersonal skills with ability to interface with multiple parties (contractors, suppliers, client representatives)
• Excellent MS Office capabilities, SCADA and MODBUS experience will be a plus;
• Must be willing and able to travel heavily in support of existing & new Energy Storage fleet
• Passion for your work, strong communication skills, a flexible and positive attitude, structured and dedicated way of working
• Languages: Fluent English, any other additional language will be a plus
