Job summary

TOMRA RECYCLING is seeking a Field Service Engineer to install, commission and maintain sorting equipment at customer sites across Poland. You will diagnose technical faults, provide remote support, and train operators while building strong customer relationships.

Your role covers travel across Southern and Central Poland with occasional work in other regions of Poland and neighboring countries. A company car, travel allowance and a bonus scheme support your efforts.

Qualifications

• Technical education in electrical engineering, automation, electronics or related field.
• Experience in field service, maintenance, commissioning or installation at customer sites.
• SEP E and D electrical qualifications advantageous.
• Fluent Polish and good English.
• Good IT skills including PC configuration.
• Customer-focused with ability to build trusted relationships.
• Category B driving licence.
• Willingness to travel regularly to customer sites across Poland and nearby regions.

Job Description

Join TOMRA RECYCLING and work with advanced sensor-based sorting technologies that help transform waste into valuable resources. Our systems enable the precise separation of materials including plastics, wood, glass and metals, supporting resource recovery and the transition towards a circular economy.

Your role

• Install and commission sorting equipment at customer sites.
• Carry out inspections and preventive maintenance, as well as diagnose and resolve technical faults.
• Train operators and maintenance teams.
• Provide customers with technical support and help resolve technical issues.
• Build strong customer relationships and represent TOMRA as a trusted technical partner.

Home-based between customer visits
Between service visits, you will work from home, completing service reports, planning upcoming visits and providing customers with remote technical support.

Primary territory: Southern and Central Poland
Your main area of responsibility will be Southern and Central Poland. As part of the role, you will also support customers in other regions of Poland and, when required, in the Czech Republic, Slovakia and the Baltic countries: Lithuania, Latvia and Estonia.

Fully equipped company car
You will receive a fully equipped company car and fuel card for customer visits and business travel.

Annual bonus of up to 7%
You will be eligible for an annual bonus of up to 7% of your salary, based on your individual performance and company performance.

4 additional days of paid annual leave
In addition to your statutory annual leave entitlement, TOMRA provides 4 additional paid days off per year.

Enhanced business travel allowance
For qualifying business travel, TOMRA provides travel allowances above the statutory rates applicable in Poland.

Qualifications

What You'll Bring

• Technical education in electrical engineering, automation, electronics or a related field, or equivalent hands-on experience in troubleshooting and repairing industrial machinery and equipment.
• Previous experience in field service, maintenance, commissioning or installation of machinery would be an advantage, particularly in a customer-site environment.
• SEP E and D electrical qualifications would be an advantage.
• Fluent Polish and good English, enabling you to communicate confidently in a technical and professional environment.

• Good IT skills, including a basic understanding of computer networks and PC configuration.
• A customer-focused approach and the ability to build strong, trusted relationships with customers and colleagues.
• A Category B driving licence.
• Willingness to travel regularly to customer sites, primarily across Southern and Central Poland, with additional travel to other parts of Poland and countries across Central and Eastern Europe.
