Job summary

edrone seeks a Field Installation Engineer to join its international team in the installation of industrial vision systems at client sites across Europe. This mobile, field-based role requires strong technical expertise and hands-on skills.

The ideal candidate will have experience with network equipment and be fluent in both English and German. The position includes travel to various locations and offers stable collaboration with a Swiss-headquartered company.

Qualifications

• Experience reading and creating electrical drawings.
• Willingness to obtain a certification for working at heights.
• At least basic knowledge of LAN networks.

Responsibilities

• Planning with the client: defining responsibilities, resources, and schedule.
• Installing and calibrating cameras.
• Documenting the completed installation.

Skills

Experience working with network equipment

Experience with various data exchange protocols

Ability to install cameras and Ethernet cables

Technical and manual skills for installation

Fluent English

Fluent German

Category B driving license

Education

Certifications for working with electrical equipment

Safety certifications for working under voltage
